BMWs

BMW brand began to contribute to the story about 90 years ago. Initially the company engaged in manufacturing aircraft engines, and was later converted for the assembly of motorcycles and cars - cars that were at the origins motor sports in Germany from the beginning. BMW is a company with a rich heritage built on a long-standing reputation of the basic lineup. BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) has its origin aircraft. In 1913, Rapp-Motorenwerke company was founded by Karl Rapp, placing it in the hangar of the former bicycle factory near Munich, for the manufacture of aircraft engines. Near this place Gustav Otto created Bayerische Flugzeugwerke AG airplane factory.

In 1922, these two organizations united in a BMW. In the early years of its existence, BMW produced a variety of products and multi-vector, particularly for aviation, also was conducted collecting engines for motorcycles. Early models of motorcycles called the Flink (148) and 'Helios' (500). BMW began selling cars in the U.S. since the late 1960s.

The first model was the car was delivered in a recreational vehicle, which led, in the opinion of many numerical professionals to develop one of the most popular German cars, BMW 3 Series. These symbolic model cars flourished and were presented in a configuration from the BMW 318ti, BMW 325i and BMW M3. Commissioning of the famous 3-Series in 1975 free coincided with the debut of the BMW 5 Series and BMW 7 Series - sedans and the BMW 6 Series coupe. By the mid-1990s, BMW built a new plant in South Carolina, and started building the Roadster BMW Z3, which grew into a BMW Z4. A few years later came the first SUV - BMW X5, after it was perfect a production of the BMW X3 in the American South. A BMW X6 is in turn absorbed all the advantages of the previous two assembly lines.
